Relaxing stay in a beautiful location
separate showergreat serviceclean room
My room was very clean. It featured both a big bath and a separate shower unit. The restaurant provided varied and very nice meals. I thought the service there was good. The staff made a big difference and were accommodating, WHICH I APPRECIATED.
THE emergency escape sign above the door emitted light all night. It was a VERY bright green light. This disrupted my sleep.

Really good stay
arran toiletriescomfy bedpeeling paint
The room had nice toiletries from Arran and shortbread made locally. The bed was very comfy, and i had a good night's sleep! Parking was easy, and all staff were very friendly. The location allows a lovely walk into the town by the river.
The hotel requires some updates, I noticed poorly plastered holes in walls. I also observed peeling paint.

Dated but Functional Stay
dated decorpoor shower
The cottage I stayed in felt quite dated. The decor seemed tired, and the furniture showed its age. I found the bed uncomfortable. The springs were worn, causing a noticeable dip. The shower pressure was also quite poor, despite good water pressure at the taps.
